Abstract Background Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis (XGP) is a rare chronic pyelonephritis that often mimics other renal diseases. when combined with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease(ADPKD). preoperative diagnosis is exceedingly difficult.
